Our practice leads the Gainesville/Lake City area in minimally invasive gynecologic treatments, including robotic surgery, with two prominent surgeons performing robotic surgeries weekly.
Dr. Agrios and Dr. Carroccio specialize in the daVinci Robotic Surgery System, a minimally invasive option commonly used for hysterectomies, endometriosis treatments, and other gynecologic procedures.
Unlike traditional surgical methods that require several small incisions, the daVinci system uses a single incision to complete the entire procedure, resulting in less pain and shorter recovery times than with traditional methods.
Now offering vNOTES surgery:

For women dealing with conditions like fibroids, painful or heavy periods, pelvic organ prolapse, or certain gynecologic cancers, surgery can feel like a major disruption to daily life.
The vNOTES procedure offers a more patient-friendly option, allowing many of these issues to be treated without external incisions. That often means less pain, no visible scarring, and a quicker return to normal routines—so you can feel better faster.
Currently, Dr. Anthony Agrios is the only physician in the Gainesville area trained in the vNOTES procedure.
He not only performs these surgeries regularly, but he also teaches the vNOTES technique to his fellow physicians.
