Heather Schafer, CNM

Heather joined the All About Women team in April 2023. She graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. She began working at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital as a nurse in 2006. She furthered her education and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Florida in 2009 as a midwife as well as Doctorate in Nursing in 2014 from the University of Florida.

Heather also has her International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant certification. She is originally from Florida and has lived and worked in New Mexico and New Hampshire. She has one dog and two cats and in her spare time, she loves traveling.
